The following list of services available along the Flint Hills Trail is listed in approximate west-to-east order: Parking.Ĭouncil Grove: Walnut Street & Donnon St. Room for horse trailer parking.Ĭouncil Grove: Allegawaho Park (X Ave. Large parking lot.īushong: Road F & Second St. Parking at the Kaw Park for cars, but not trailers. Parking lot large enough to accommodate horse trailers. Large parking area, restrooms, picnic shelter, no water. For overnight parking use the Old Depot Museum. ![]() The trail can also be accessed at East 7th Street or the Orlis Cox ballfields on the western edge of Ottawa. Parking is available at Legacy Square or the Old Depot, which is the Trailhead/information center for the Prairie Spirit Trail. The Flint Hills Trail goes east and west, the Prairie Spirit Trail goes south. ![]() Ottawa: The Flint Hills Trail and the Prairie Spirit Trail intersect at 1st and Walnut in Ottawa.
